X Factor’s Ray Quinn who once charmed millions with his multitude of talents, is now finding bliss away from the life of fame. The 35-year-old singer and dancer looks almost recognizable 15 years after his X Factor stint.
The year was 2006 when Ray Quinn appeared to audition for X Factor and impressed all the judges with his soulful vocals on the first try. Quinn’s soap opera experience for a few years before that helped him transform into a music performer who could equally ace a singing or dancing challenge and made him a fan-favorite contestant for season 3 in no time.

Ray Quinn’s humble life away from the limelight is equally glitzy as the singer is seen keeping in touch with his fans through Instagram. Quinn’s appearance has changed over the years and now his innocent chocolate boy demeanor is replaced with a man who sports a man bun, beard, and tattoo-studded arms.
Quinn is also getting ready for his much-awaited wedding with long-time girlfriend Emily Ashleigh. The couple got engaged in 2019, welcomed their first daughter together Summer Reign in September 2022, and looking forward to their upcoming wedding.

Ray Quinn lost the final competition of X Factor to Leona Lewis but his journey with music did not stop there. After becoming the runner-up of the show, Quinn participated in TV‘s Dancing on Ice in 2009 and the ‘All Stars’ series in 2014 and snagged the winning trophies in both competitions. He also won first prize in the British talent show Get Your Act Together.
Quinn returned to music after his hattrick victory in three talent shows. But after the release of his second album Undeniable, on 28 August 2020, Quinn had to take up odd jobs to survive the pandemic.
The 35-year-old singer ditched celebrity life and showbiz to take up a job as a delivery driver for courier company Hermes. In the following year, he started a new career in the carpets business at his family firm, alongside brothers Robin and Darren.
“You can work your way out of anything”
Ray Quinn has gone through a drastic life change from singing for millions to his quiet carpet business but his outlook on life is still as inspiring as ever. The Doing It My Way crooner revealed in an interview that his father’s influence helped him navigate through his career.
“My dad was a carpet fitter all his life. He taught my brothers how to do it,” he gushed adding, “When I first started, I actually went to work in my dad’s old uniform. He’d always said you can work your way out of anything; to keep your head up high – and that’s what I’ve done.”
